Dundi Jaczo 1883-1910

Dundi Jaczo

I could not find any information related to this scultpure. Possibly it reminds us of a musician who only became 37 years old. At least he spent his life time during a peaceful and prosperous period,often called the "golden age".

Ligeti Miklós 1871-1944

The tombstone of Ligeti Miklós (1871-1944) is a rather modern one. Instead of representing the deceases person there is an empty chair left with a hat, coat and walking stick. These things are left in a way as if the owner just left for a short time and will be back soon. In the evening the sunbeams fall from the side on this place like a spot light on a theater stage. Ligeti Miklós had been a sculptor and some of of the scultpures on the cemetery have been designed by him (Eisele család ).

Breuer Szilárd 1863-1931

Breuer Szilárd 1863-1931
Breuer Szilárd had been a civil engineer and a commander of the fire-brigade. Accordingly the sculpture represents a man with cloth and equipment of the fire-brigade. It seems that it has been in fashion over decades to show the deceased person with attributes of their profession during life times.
